A web tool to help Philadelphia residents estimate their annual home energy burden based on location, housing type, and income category. The app visualizes spatial inequities in energy costs using Leaflet and an ACS-based model.
This dashboard helps Philadelphia residents:
- Search for an address and identify the census tract
- Explore typical energy burden levels across the city
- Estimate their own burden based on housing type and income category

Process of use:
- Address search with geocoding
- Choose “Housing Type” + “Income Category”
- Returns predicted annual energy burden for that tract
